In the summer of 2009, students from HHS journeyed to Rwanda, with the Facing History and Ourselves organization, to participate in an exchange program as part of a grant from the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
In the spring of 2010, the Rwandans traveled to Massachusetts to spend time in Boston, Hudson, and Washington, D.C.
