Homework: October 6

Honors English 12 (G block)

• Update=you don't need to give me a final draft of your personal essay tomorrow. I still have your drafts, and I'll give them back to you tomorrow.
• We will do some writing in class tomorrow. You will submit your mind map with your response tomorrow, and you should have all of your texts with you.

English 11 (A block)

• Study your vocabulary! Your quiz was postponed from today, so it's tomorrow!!!
• Finish your draft paragraph for "Reservation Mathematics."

Honors English 11 (C block)

• Study your vocabulary for a quiz--it's on Monday Wednesday!
• Start planning, prepping, researching, and pulling evidence for your analytical essay. If you don't know the meanings of the terms on the front of the paper, you're looking them up and making some notes. You should spend at least 20 minutes on this work, and should be ready to share it in class on Wednesday.

English 11 (D block)

• Write your response to "Why We Play Basketball." It's a fairly informal response...write a couple of paragraphs:
• Here's what I know is going on...
• Here's what I think is important, because...
• Here's what I think is important, but I'm not sure why... Maybe...
