Homework: October 13

English 11 (F block)

• Make sure you've read to page 218 in True Diary! We'll finish the book in class on Monday.
• Make a list of the 9 most significant/important "moments" from True Diary, focusing on pages 1-178. You'll add them to the paper we set up in class on Monday, so for now, just list them out.

Honors English 11 (G block)

• Work on your essay!

Honors English 12 (A block)

• Read Room!
• Finish up your mind map--you'll use it to do some writing on Monday!
• Read "Costume Drama"; though long, it's a good mentor text for personal/college essay writing.

English 11 (C block)

• If you haven't finished reading True Diary, that's job number one! Here's a link to an audio version that I wish I'd found earlier.
• If you haven't finished your "moments from True Diary" 1-9, do that.
• You can complete moments 10-12 now that you've finished reading the book.
• You'll have time to complete the "Responding to True Diary" handout in class on Tuesday, but you can start working on it over the weekend if you want!
