- Read, mark up and respond to the article “What Makes Us Moral?” for Friday.
- For your response, just write a page or so about your thoughts, reactions, and/or connections.
- You could write about:
- What’s your reaction to the article’s ideas about morality? Explain.
- Discuss a “move” made by the writer in this piece that you think is good and/or interesting. Explain.
- Pick a passage from the article and respond to it.

- Read and mark up the story "Recitatif," keeping in mind the question: How do our families of origin, friends, societies and psychologies shape our morals and values?
