- Read your IR book tonight.
Honors English 11 (F block)
- Read and jot down some notes on "Love," "Spin" and "On the Rainy River" up to page 46.
Honors English 12 (G block)
- Work on your essay, if you want. If you don't want to, that's ok--but be ready to work hard when you come back from break.
- Read your book club book.
- Finally, get your hands on a newspaper, and complete at least one "Black-out poem"--watch this 5-minute video to learn how to do it. You can check out a lot more examples if you look up Austin Kleon on Instagram (@austinkleon) or check out this link to his website.
English 11 (A block)
- Read Gatsby, up to the place on page 134 that we marked in class today (it's most of the way down the page, where you see the ellipsis).
- We'll be doing an activity with chapter 7, so make sure you read carefully and make notes on your text.
