  • You completed the Venn diagrams for the story "Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong" and we discussed it in a really thoughtful conversation today. 
  • Tonight, fill the back page of the "Sweetheart" handout with all of your ideas. This will serve as a freewrite/draft--you'll write a paragraph in class on Friday.
Honors English 12 (G block)
  • We started project work today! I texted you the project work breakdown, which includes the homework assignments. It's here too, just in case.

Honors English 11 (G AND D Blocks)
  • We finished watching Restrepo today. Spend at least 20 minutes mapping out all the connections (thematic, character-based, etc.) you can make among Restrepo, Big Fish and The Things They Carried. Be as detailed as possible. Remember, we'll start a group project next class, so you'll want to make sure you're prepared.
Honors English 12 (A block)
  • Complete a 1-2 paragraph draft essay proposal for your Another Brooklyn essay. Remember, this is just in its incipient stages. You can upload it to Classroom or write it in your journal.
English 11 (C block)
  • Complete the Venn diagram organizers for "Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong." You'll do the last page (the writing) in class.
