  • If you're in the Mean Girls group, your presentation is tomorrow! Make sure you upload your slides, if you have some, to Google Classroom. 
  • If you're not in the Mean Girls group, and you want to do the response for that film, it's due to Turnitin.com by Friday.
English 11 (C block)
  • Complete the connotation/denotation handout by answering question 7.
Honors English 11 (D block)
  • Read chapter 15 and take notes in whatever style works best for you.
  • For next Wednesday, May 2--study your vocabulary. Additionally, read/mark up the article called "The Effects of Air Pollution," and answer the multiple choice questions. You'll write a response to the article on the quiz, then you'll pass in the marked up article.

  • Enjoy your break by doing some/all of the following: read your IR book, play outside, talk to you friends IRL, climb a tree, eat some ice cream.
Honors English 11 (G block)
  • Read Strength in What Remains through chapter 13. Mark your observations, questions and connections using sticky notes.
  • Have a great break and spend some quality time outside. Keep your phone as far away from you as much as possible! Climb a tree, play outside, hang out with your friends, get some ice cream, read your IR book, pet some dogs.
Honors English 12 (A block)
  • Work on your film project presentation.
  • Enjoy your last April break of your high school career by playing outside, hanging out with your friends, and reading a good book.

  • Prepare for tomorrow's seminar discussion! Remember to bring your Frankenstein book with you, too. I'm collecting them!
  • If you need to give me a works cited list, BRING IT IN.
English 11 (C block)
  • Make sure you have your visual project with you tomorrow. We'll finish the writing in class tomorrow. Feel free to work on it tonight, especially if you were still working on your visual in class today.
Honors English 11 (D block)
  • Read and complete the reading road map for the first couple of sections of chapter 9. You'll have time next class, and will need to finish reading through chapter 9 by the beginning of class Friday.
