An analysis of POWER in Frederick Douglass, chapter 1

In Honors English 11, we're reading and analyzing The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave, Written by Himself. An early writing assignment asked students to establish a thesis statement that analyzed the role of power in Chapter 1 of the narrative, then develop their arguments with evidence.
